Such sad and awful news for all of us Rothko lovers to hear.
The vandalism of Rothko’s work took place in the Rothko Room, at Tate Modern. Many witnesses identified the vandal to be a man in his late 20s, who calmly approached the Rothko painting Black on Maroon, 1958.
Stay away from the Rothkos OR ELSE.
